the activities will be coloring, cutting, pasting, story telling, puzzles, checkers, card games, drawing and board games. What have you got to lose except 4 little hours a week. What do you have to gain is satisfaction in knowing YOU made a difference in a child's life!

Dear fellow community members,
The Old Foothill Farms Community Task Force is now connected with the Pioneer Elementary School by virtue of the "Foothill Farms School-Community Cooperation Committee," which was established by Patrick Birdsong, principal of Pioneer School. We held our first meeting on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Three members of our steering committee and Michael Baker (representing the Twin Rivers School Board) met with Mr. Birdsong. We discussed the needs and wishes of the school administration, and explored the ways in which the community could assist the school in reaching its needs for the improvement of the physical environment and the safety of the children attending the school. The committee will meet monthly and I'll report back to the community at our bimonthly meetings.
"Community means sharing solutions as well as problems. So let's work together."
